1. About these terms

These terms and conditions apply whenever you book a detailing, protection or customisation service with Boost Customs Ltd ("Boost Customs", "we", "us", "our"), of 34A Viking Road, Brownsburn Industrial Estate, Airdrie, ML6 9SE. By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms.

2. Our services

We provide vehicle detailing, ceramic coating, paint correction, window tinting and bespoke customisation services as described on this website. The exact scope of work for your vehicle will be confirmed with you before we begin, whether by quote, booking confirmation or conversation in person.

3. Quotes & pricing

Quotes provided through our website, by phone or in person are estimates based on the information and photos you give us. The final price may change if, once we see your vehicle in person, the condition, size or scope of work differs from what was originally described — we'll always confirm any change with you before carrying out additional work.

4. Bookings & deposits

Some services may require a deposit to secure your booking. The amount will be confirmed with you at the time of booking.

Deposits are non-refundable where a booking is cancelled, or an appointment is missed, with less than 72 hours' notice — see Cancellations & rescheduling below.

Where parts have been purchased specifically for your job, and that job is then delayed by more than 28 days from the date the parts were ordered (for example, because the vehicle isn't brought in, or the booking is repeatedly postponed on your side), the cost of those parts is non-refundable. This reflects the fact that parts are ordered specifically for your vehicle and can't always be returned to the supplier.

5. Cancellations & rescheduling

We ask for at least 72 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rebook an appointment. Cancelling or rescheduling with less than 72 hours' notice, or missing an appointment without notice, means any deposit paid is forfeited and is non-refundable.

If no deposit was taken, a cancellation charge may still apply where less than 72 hours' notice is given — this will be confirmed with you at the time of booking.

6. Vehicle condition & your responsibilities

Please let us know about any pre-existing damage, mechanical issues, aftermarket modifications or areas of concern before we begin work. Where practical, we'll carry out a visual check of your vehicle's condition before starting and will flag anything notable to you.

Please remove personal belongings and valuables from your vehicle before drop-off — we're not responsible for items left inside the vehicle.

7. Workmanship & guarantees

We carry out all work to a high standard using appropriate products and techniques for your vehicle. Where a specific guarantee applies to a service (for example, a ceramic coating warranty period), this will be confirmed with you separately in writing.

8. Third-party products & warranties

Some products we use or fit — such as ceramic coatings, protective film or wrap material — carry their own manufacturer's warranty. Where applicable, we'll pass on the relevant warranty information and, where needed, help register the product on your behalf.

9. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept the payment methods confirmed with you at the time of booking. Vehicles may be retained until payment is received in full.

10. Liability

We take reasonable care when working on your vehicle. We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage, wear or mechanical faults present before the vehicle was brought to us
  • Issues arising from aftermarket modifications, prior repair work, or defects we could not reasonably have been aware of
  • Indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of use of your vehicle) beyond the value of the service provided

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. Collection of your vehicle

Please collect your vehicle at the agreed time. If a vehicle is left uncollected for an extended period without notice, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable storage fee, which will be confirmed with you in advance of being applied.

12. Your statutory rights

These terms don't affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which requires services to be carried out with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms is intended to reduce those rights.

13. Governing law

Boost Customs is based in Airdrie, Scotland. These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
